What foods make a healthy meal?

Eating foods from the 4 food groups of Canada’s Food Guide helps children to grow up healthy.

For each meal, offer foods from each of the 4 food groups in Canada’s Food Guide:

  • Vegetables and Fruit
  • Grain Products
  • Milk and Alternatives
  • Meat and Alternatives
